I was in the army, got out a year ago, and while I was there I worked in ground forces. I applied to the air farce but that fell short thanks to my blood pressure being too low. So I don't really know pilots first hand, but I'm sure a helo pilot prefers a helo and a fixed wing pilot prefers the jets.
