I'm at the anime club at my school and we're having a Halloween party and a bunch of people here are dressed up in furry attire, with one in a full on fursuit and its making me very uncomfortable ironically enough. I've always found most fursuits to be really creepy looking and I don't like being super outward about furry stuff, especially at non-furry related things, so seeing people do this at an anime club meeting is really....uncomfortable. I'm an officer of the club so I've gotta be here.  :(

I have a very vague memory of walking into a circus tent with my family somewhere when I was a toddler and being shit scared at all the clowns doing cartwheels in a big circle around the arena/stage/whatever. I walked in, started crying out of fright when I saw what was happening and then ran back out again a few seconds later.

I dunno if it was the loud music or the clowns themselves or just because it was too confusing in general for my little mind but I've always felt uneasy about circuses since.

What year were you born?

I did the math preemptively and I'm gonna spend my entire paycheck on stuff I have to buy tomorrow, when it goes in. Hope $40 can last me a whole week. That's all that's in my wallet. : /

Samesies. I'm not even that old and I feel old.

I think that happens to everyone. I was a freshman in high school when 9/11 happened, now freshmen in high school were born when it happened. I really sat down and thought about it when I had the realization. I know full well that I will, in the blink of an eye, be thinking about how I frequented this forum thirty years ago. Unless I'm dead.

and what does a bowler do?

It makes you a showman. :v

I own fedoras. They're fucking bad-ass. Indiana Jones had a Fedora. Al Capone, John Dillinger and Bugsy Malone all wore fedoras.

You're most likely thinking of Trilbys, which look entirely douche-tastic.

You're right, I have seen so many people wearing them, and they call it a fedora. Guess I'm jaded.

To be fair I think most of those things aren't inherently bad in the right context. I mean if you are out in the sun or rain or whatever like Indiana Jones, then sure wear the hat. Wide-brimmed anything is actually pretty nice in those cases. Or if you are at some sort of event when dressing like that is expected.

The negative impressions come from its use by people who are blind to context. They see that it was cool in some era long ago or in a movie and they don't make the distinction between the impression it gave then, when it was normal, and the impression it gives now. When you see someone trying to dress like it's 60 years ago or as a character in day to day life for no particular reason, then it crosses the line from stylish practicality to desperately overcompensating. Like the stereotypical fat socially awkward guy in a trilby. It's not about whether their hat actually looks bad or not, it's what it suggests about someone who would go out of their way to wear it.

I used to be head chef in a place here in SoCal. ;3 (Me on the left.)

Until the owner's fucking asshole (now ex) boyfriend literally ran off all the customers in a bid to try converting the bar into a biker/bbq/beer place.

I swear, one day I should just open my own fucking restaurant.

Let me know... I can work as a line cook xD

I only accept $20 per hour

Alternatively, you can start visiting my cooking broadcast so your food does not go bad and you get maximum enjoyment from it!

Well, it's more a matter of not really keeping raw ingredients around. I live off simple food most days; light sandwiches. Once in a while I'll get some raw ingredients and start conjuring. I intend to go egg-nuts sometime next week and experiment with different recipes for some lunch meals. But aside from that... Right now, the only thing that'll "go bad" quickly in my fridge is the milk. Next to that, some cold cuts, but I eat those before they go bad. Same with the cheese.

[I found this utility], but I have no experience with it, and can't say anything about the legitimacy of it.
[This is what I found] about scrubbing the taint from the file.

But either way, I dunno if the geno taint will "stick" without completing it to the very end and selling your soul to the Fallen child.
I haven't done it yet, myself.
So if you want to just fight Sans and / or Undyne, just do those and quit playing?

Thank you again! I am above consequence!!!

Went hiking a couple of days ago up a mountain in the middle of the night with a friend. When we got to the top we got stoned as fuck, howled at the full moon like a couple of autistic weirdos, had sex, and then ran the whole way back down and miraculously didn't fall face first into a rock and die. It was like a vision quest only I didn't hallucinate or have an epiphany about the meaning of life.

I took pictures with my potato too because I thought the moon and the city looked cool.phoenixmountaintop.thumb.JPG.54d743c1fa3

Hike was pretty fun and the area felt very peaceful; will probably do it again. It was a needed distraction after one of the busiest weeks I've had in a while.

Also there was a rattlesnake we pissed off with our presence but we didn't see it.

Sounds like a fun night you had.

The city reminds me of what its like to be on the mountain outskirts of various cities in Tennessee.

Next time I go up there during the day I'll get a picture that shows the backdrop of the city better, it's literally surrounded by hills and mountains from almost every direction. They're the only thing that stopped the sprawl and rich people even built houses on the sides of them so only barely :V
