willow
I love moths so much. there was a period of time where I'd spam pictures of moths on my tumblr because I thought they were underappreciated. it was sad going through the tag thought because half of the posts were people hating on moths so here's some nice ones from my tag

They're not annoying or dangerous like mosquitoes and they're similar to butterflies, just usually less colorful.

But thr lunar moth? Beautiful, stellar creature. I once rescued one from the inside of a Wal Mart Also...butterflies are an overrated insect, anyways. Moths have the fluff, butterflies are just colored exoskeletons.

Vallium
I wanted to mercy kill a moth once...it was this bright orange thing with a broken wing. Instead, I let it go to live the remainder of its damaged life. I think maybe I should have squashed it then and there...but didnt have the guts...to make guts... Not because I was grossed out, mostly because the idea of intentionally killing anything larger than an ant or potentially dangerous creature in my vicinity bothers me

MalletFace
No baby pictures? Acharia stimulea: Euclea delphinii: Lagoa crispata: The cool part is that I have nearly 3000 species of moth within walking distance or a short drive, and all three of those are included. There are also so many stinging caterpillars that my nephew has told me they are "Don't touch me" bugs. The three above are obviously of the "Don't touch me" kind.
Kleric
Last night, a moth got stuck in one of my cups of water for painting, and swam furiously in circles around it trying to get out I assume. I flicked him out of it with a pencil. .-.
